Falcon Age: Falcon Hunter Action Adventure for PSVR

The developer Outerloop Games has announced on the gamescom 2018 in Cologne announced "Falcon Age", which can be played as normal on the PlayStation 4 or with PlayStation VR. The title will be released next year.

Falcon Age" is a so-called falcon hunter action adventure that is played from a first-person perspective. You take on the role of Ara, who is wrongly imprisoned for a minor offence. In her cell, she finds a friend in a young falcon. Together they escape and embark on an adventure. They help the resistance to regain their freedom.

Chandana EkanayakeCreative Director at Outerloop Games, says of the game: "Learn to hunt, gather and fight to reclaim your lost cultural heritage of falconry and use it against the automated forces of the colonisers. Explore a strange land as you work together to help the resistance and build a deep friendship with your falcon."

According to the creators, "Falcon Age" was developed from the ground up for PSVR and is played with the Move controllers or the DualShock 4 controller. The PlayStation 4 Pro is also supported. "We want to offer players different ways to experience the unique world of Falcon Age with customised support for different play styles and devices," says Chandana Ekanayake about the different game variants.
