On the bridge of the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D

Ubisoft has announced that the "Star Trek: The Next Generation" expansion for "Star Trek: Bridge Crew" will be released on 22 May 2018 for PlayStation VR and without VR function for the PlayStation 4. HTC Vive, Oculus Rift and Windows Mixed Reality will then be supplied on 21 July 2018.

Since the add-on is based on the TV series "Star Trek: The Next Generation" based, you get to take a seat on the bridge of the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D. The iconic bridge allows players to test their combat skills against the Romulans or the Borg. According to Ubisoft, "The Next Generation" improves the ongoing mission mode and offers two additional mission types, "Patrol" and "Resistance".

Patrol mode gives us the chance to freely explore space, while random encounters and objectives should provide endless hours of adventure aboard the U.S.S. Aegis, U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 or Enterprise-D. In Resistance mode, you have the chance to confront the Borg. You will have to evade a pursuing Borg cube and complete a series of objectives before fighting the Borg in a final showdown.

In addition, the Enterprise-D will introduce the new "Ops" command role, which focuses on crew management. The Ops crew must plan ahead and assign the correct NPC teams to each location on the ship, as each position is critical to the success of the various missions and to the safety of the crew.
