VR shooter Space Junkies gets beta

The VR shooter "Space Junkies" announced at E3 2017 will have a playable closed beta, as Ubisoft has announced. It will start at the beginning of 2018 for Oculus Rift.

"Space Junkies" is an arcade shooter with jetpack action that is being developed exclusively for virtual reality. Ubisoft Montpellier is responsible for this. According to the creators, "Space Junkies" offers intuitive, fast-paced multiplayer fun in three-dimensional, orbital arenas. Full VR body control is supported, allowing players to immerse themselves in intense and weightless battles.

Registration for the closed beta (including all information) is available on the official side possible. A current gameplay trailer is also available for viewing. "Space Junkies" will be released in spring 2018 for Oculus Rift with Touch and HTC Vive. In our previous news further details about the game are available.
