The Lawnmower Man as a VR series

Jaunt, a cinematic VR company, has now announced that five different projects will go into production this year. Of particular interest is a multi-part VR series about "The Lawnmower". This is a science fiction classic that was published back in 1992. At the time, "The Lawnmower Man" was able to win with spectacular CGI effects. Today, the images logically generate far less enthusiasm.

The film is about experiments to increase cognitive performance, while drugs and artificial reality are used to create the perfect soldier. Within a very short space of time, the retarded gardener's assistant Jobe Smith succeeds in enhancing his mental abilities. Naturally, the cyberspace experiment gets out of control. You can find more information about "The Lawnmower Man" at Wikipedia or IMDb but this brief description alone should make it clear that the topic is definitely suitable as a project for today's VR headsets. Unfortunately, concrete information on the VR series is not yet available, which is why a little patience is required.
