FoxNext, una divisione di 20th Century Fox, ha confermato che il gioco \"Crisis on the Planet of the Apes VR\" per HTC Vive, Oculus Rift e PlayStation VR \u00e8 attualmente in fase di sviluppo. L'uscita avverr\u00e0 addirittura il 3 aprile 2018.<\/p>\n

L'avventura d'azione in VR si svolge da una prospettiva in prima persona. L'utente assume il ruolo di una scimmia che deve fuggire da una struttura di ricerca umana con altri membri della sua specie. La storia si svolge tra i film \"Planet of the Apes: Prevolution\" e \"Planet of the Apes: Revolution\".<\/p>\n

\"Quando si allungano le mani, non si vedono controller o arti umani, ma braccia pelose e muscolose di scimmia. Quando si cammina, non basta tenere premuto un pulsante o fluttuare nel mondo. Devi prima imparare a muoverti come una scimmia e a far oscillare le braccia in modo appropriato\", spiega il giocatore. Ben Miller<\/a> da FoxNext. \"Quando si incontrano muri o ostacoli apparentemente insormontabili, si prova la meravigliosa sensazione di potersi arrampicare come una scimmia\".<\/p>\n

Ben Miller aggiunge a proposito del gameplay: \"Abbiamo ideato un sistema di combattimento unico per questo gioco che consente di afferrare un oggetto come copertura con le mani e di muoversi dentro e fuori la copertura muovendo il corpo virtuale. Tutto \u00e8 determinato dai vostri movimenti. Abbiamo rimosso quasi tutti gli elementi del menu dal gioco per massimizzare l'immersione\". Ad esempio, \u00e8 possibile allungare la mano sopra la spalla ed estrarre un M4 semiautomatico.<\/p>\n
