Il n'y a toutefois pas lieu de s'inqui\u00e9ter pour l'instant.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Suite \u00e0 la multiplication des t\u00e9moignages d'utilisateurs de VR faisant \u00e9tat d'un d\u00e9calage de la r\u00e9alit\u00e9, un groupe de chercheurs allemands a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 d'\u00e9tudier ce ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne \u00e0 l'aide de m\u00e9thodes scientifiques. Il s'agit d'exp\u00e9riences v\u00e9cues par des joueurs qui retirent leurs lunettes et qui, pendant un court laps de temps, ont l'impression d'\u00eatre toujours dans un environnement virtuel.<\/p>\n<p>Dans le jargon de la psychologie et de la psychiatrie, on parle de d\u00e9personnalisation (DP) et de d\u00e9r\u00e9alisation (DR). La d\u00e9r\u00e9alisation signifie que l'environnement nous semble \u00e9tranger et irr\u00e9el, tandis que dans le cas de la d\u00e9personnalisation, ce sentiment se rapporte \u00e0 notre propre personne. Il s'agit de deux ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes diff\u00e9rents, mais qui sont \u00e9troitement li\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>Carina Peckmann, Kyra Kannen, Max C. Pensel, Silke Lux, Alexandra Philipsen et Niclas Braun du d\u00e9partement de psychiatrie et de psychoth\u00e9rapie de la clinique universitaire de Bonn ont men\u00e9 une \u00e9tude pour savoir si la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 virtuelle pouvait provoquer de tels ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes. Les r\u00e9sultats ont \u00e9t\u00e9 publi\u00e9s en f\u00e9vrier dans la revue sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9e Computers in Human Behavior.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"probanden-spielten-skyrim-vr\">Des volontaires ont jou\u00e9 \u00e0 Skyrim VR<\/h3>\n<p>\"Comme la RV est une technologie qui peut fortement influencer l'exp\u00e9rience de la r\u00e9alit\u00e9, du moins pendant la consommation de RV, nous nous sommes demand\u00e9 si la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 virtuelle influen\u00e7ait \u00e9galement l'exp\u00e9rience de la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 par rapport au 'monde r\u00e9el' apr\u00e8s la consommation de RV\", explique le directeur de l'\u00e9tude Niclas Braun au blog de psychologie <a href=\"https:\/\/www.psypost.org\/2022\/04\/virtual-reality-can-induce-mild-and-transient-symptoms-of-depersonalization-and-derealization-study-finds-62831\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">PsyPost<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Pour leur \u00e9tude longitudinale randomis\u00e9e et contr\u00f4l\u00e9e, les chercheurs ont s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9 80 participants sans troubles psychiatriques ou neurologiques. Quarante d'entre eux ont jou\u00e9 \u00e0 la version 2D originale du jeu de r\u00f4le Skyrim sur un \u00e9cran, tandis que 40 autres ont jou\u00e9 au portage VR plus immersif avec des lunettes VR.<\/p>\n<p>Un questionnaire standardis\u00e9, appel\u00e9 \u00e9chelle de d\u00e9personnalisation de Cambridge (CDS), a permis d'\u00e9valuer le degr\u00e9 individuel de d\u00e9personnalisation et de d\u00e9r\u00e9alisation (niveau DPDR) \u00e0 quatre moments diff\u00e9rents : juste avant la session de jeu, juste apr\u00e8s la session de jeu, un jour apr\u00e8s la session de jeu et une semaine apr\u00e8s la session de jeu.<\/p>\n<p>En plus du questionnaire, une s\u00e9rie d'autres tests ont \u00e9t\u00e9 effectu\u00e9s pour \u00e9valuer la r\u00e9activit\u00e9 \u00e9motionnelle, le degr\u00e9 de motion sickness et la perception de la r\u00e9alit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"das-forscherteam-gibt-entwarnung\">L'\u00e9quipe de chercheurs l\u00e8ve l'alerte<\/h3>\n<p>L'\u00e9tude a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 que la consommation en 2D et en RV provoquait temporairement de l\u00e9gers sympt\u00f4mes DPDR, l'utilisation de la RV ayant toutefois un effet significativement plus important \u00e0 cet \u00e9gard. Le groupe n'a pu mesurer des d\u00e9calages \u00e0 plus long terme dans la perception de la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 dans aucun des deux cas.<\/p>\n<p>\"Notre \u00e9tude a fourni des preuves suppl\u00e9mentaires de l'apparition de sympt\u00f4mes DPDR par les techniques de RV et est la premi\u00e8re \u00e9tude \u00e0 d\u00e9montrer cette constatation avec un groupe de contr\u00f4le ad\u00e9quat\", \u00e9crit le groupe dans la conclusion de l'\u00e9tude. \"Cependant, les effets DPDR trouv\u00e9s ne semblent pas \u00eatre cliniquement pertinents dans leur intensit\u00e9 et, sur la base de nos donn\u00e9es, aucune preuve d'un effet DPDR \u00e0 long terme ne peut \u00eatre apport\u00e9e apr\u00e8s une consommation unique de RV\".<\/p>\n<p>En d'autres termes, l'influence de la RV sur la perception de la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 ne se produit que peu de temps apr\u00e8s l'utilisation de la RV et est si minime qu'elle ne pr\u00e9sente aucun risque.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"vr-einfluss-viele-fragen-sind-noch-unbeantwortet\">Influence de la RV : de nombreuses questions restent sans r\u00e9ponse<\/h3>\n<p>L'\u00e9tude pr\u00e9sente un certain nombre de limites qui n\u00e9cessitent des recherches suppl\u00e9mentaires. Le groupe souligne que les sessions de jeu n'ont dur\u00e9 que 30 minutes chacune et qu'un seul jeu a \u00e9t\u00e9 test\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Que se passe-t-il si quelqu'un joue deux, quatre ou huit heures d'affil\u00e9e dans la VR et ce, tous les jours pendant une p\u00e9riode prolong\u00e9e ? Et quel est l'impact d'autres jeux VR plus r\u00e9alistes sur la perception de la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 ?<\/p>\n<p>De plus, le groupe n'a \u00e9tudi\u00e9 que des sujets de test en bonne sant\u00e9. On ne sait pas quels sont les effets de la RV sur les personnes souffrant de troubles psychiques ou de psychoses.
