L'application devrait m\u00eame permettre des animations \u00e0 l'aide de deux enregistrements vid\u00e9o seulement.<!--more--><\/h3>\n<p>Une \u00e9quipe de chercheurs de l'universit\u00e9 de Bielefeld, de W\u00fcrzburg et de l'universit\u00e9 technique de Dortmund pr\u00e9sente une m\u00e9thode permettant de cr\u00e9er des avatars en 3D \u00e0 l'aide d'une seule cam\u00e9ra de smartphone. Deux enregistrements vid\u00e9o constituent la base de l'image virtuelle d'une personne. L'ensemble du processus de reconstruction virtuelle d'un \u00eatre humain devrait prendre une vingtaine de minutes. Pour la capture du mod\u00e8le, ils ont besoin de deux enregistrements vid\u00e9o normaux : un pour le corps, un autre pour la t\u00eate. Aucun scanner 3D n'est n\u00e9cessaire, l'appareil photo ordinaire d'un smartphone suffit.<\/p>\n<p>Dans les reconstructions monoculaires traditionnelles, seul un scan du corps entier est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement effectu\u00e9. Selon les chercheurs, un enregistrement s\u00e9par\u00e9 de la t\u00eate devrait toutefois permettre d'obtenir une qualit\u00e9 de d\u00e9tail nettement sup\u00e9rieure dans ce domaine.<\/p>\n<p>Pour le scan de la t\u00eate, le smartphone est d\u00e9plac\u00e9 une fois en un seul mouvement circulaire autour de la t\u00eate. Pour l'enregistrement du corps, il s'agit de deux rotations encha\u00een\u00e9es sans interruption. Lors du premier passage, la t\u00eate, le torse et les bras sont enregistr\u00e9s, lors du second, il s'agit des hanches, des jambes et des pieds.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"teuerer-kamera-vs-smartphone-fast-kein-unterschied\">Appareil photo plus cher vs smartphone - presque aucune diff\u00e9rence<\/h3>\n<p>\u00c0 titre de comparaison, l'\u00e9quipe a cr\u00e9\u00e9 des avatars avec un syst\u00e8me multicam\u00e9ra professionnel. Comme le montre l'image ci-dessous, les scans du smartphone sont d'un niveau similaire \u00e0 ceux de la configuration professionnelle. Ils seraient compatibles avec tous les moteurs standard et les animations de squelettes et de visages seraient \u00e9galement possibles. Les mouvements vont des mouvements des yeux et des sourires aux mouvements de danse complexes avec des bras et des jambes anim\u00e9s. Ils sont cr\u00e9\u00e9s avec Faceware Studio et le plug-in Unitiy Live.
