Les machines command\u00e9es par ordinateur modifient les processus de travail traditionnels. La t\u00e2che de l'homme consistera principalement \u00e0 cr\u00e9er les donn\u00e9es pour la production au moyen de logiciels de CAO et de mod\u00e9lisation 3D. Ces applications ont une courbe d'apprentissage abrupte et n\u00e9cessitent un investissement en temps \u00e9norme pour les ma\u00eetriser. La RV offre la possibilit\u00e9 d'ex\u00e9cuter des commandes avec des mouvements habituels et d'interagir de mani\u00e8re r\u00e9aliste avec des objets virtuels. Cela acc\u00e9l\u00e8re consid\u00e9rablement les progr\u00e8s de l'apprentissage et les processus de cr\u00e9ation. La visualisation tridimensionnelle dans l'espace apporte de nouvelles m\u00e9thodes de conception et soutient les d\u00e9cisions dans un processus de conception. Les solutions peuvent \u00eatre mieux con\u00e7ues, \u00e9labor\u00e9es et communiqu\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p>Avec le <a href=\"http:\/\/www.virtualdesignkit.ch\">Kit de conception virtuelle<\/a> (VDK), des constructions en t\u00f4le peuvent \u00eatre con\u00e7ues et r\u00e9alis\u00e9es en VR. Le projet de dipl\u00f4me correspondant explore la mani\u00e8re dont les constructions en t\u00f4le con\u00e7ues par les \u00e9tudiants peuvent \u00eatre r\u00e9alis\u00e9es en r\u00e9alit\u00e9 virtuelle.<\/p>\n<p>Les personnes et les entreprises doivent pouvoir r\u00e9aliser, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ce proc\u00e9d\u00e9 simple, des constructions m\u00e9talliques qu'elles ont elles-m\u00eames con\u00e7ues et produites localement. En impliquant l'utilisateur dans le processus de conception et de r\u00e9alisation, les cr\u00e9ateurs esp\u00e8rent nous voir adopter un comportement de consommation plus durable entre l'utilisateur et le produit.<\/p>\n<p>Tobias Kappeler est constructeur m\u00e9tallique et \u00e9tudie le design postindustriel \u00e0 l'HyperWerk de la Hochschule f\u00fcr Gestaltung und Kunst FHNW. Il a r\u00e9alis\u00e9 le projet 'Virtual Design Kit' avec ses camarades d'\u00e9tudes Christoph Schneider et Nicolas Dubied en tant que travail de dipl\u00f4me. Le projet a \u00e9t\u00e9 initi\u00e9 par Vistom (Virtual Studios, Tools and Methods) et Virtual Valley (Forschungsgesellschaft f\u00fcr Entwurfsgestaltung) et d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 en collaboration avec la Hochschule f\u00fcr Architektur und Technik FHNW et l'Institut f\u00fcr postindustrielles Design am Hyperwerk de la Hochschule f\u00fcr Gestaltung und Kunst FHNW.<\/p>\n<p>Dans VDK, l'utilisateur utilise un jeu de construction virtuel et con\u00e7oit par 'glisser-d\u00e9poser'. Le premier prototype vise \u00e0 cr\u00e9er des lampes ou \u00e0 \u00e9quiper de lumi\u00e8re des constructions en t\u00f4le. L'utilisateur peut travailler dans l'espace virtuel avec des \u00e9l\u00e9ments pr\u00e9d\u00e9finis qui s'assemblent magn\u00e9tiquement lorsqu'ils se chevauchent. Il n'a pas besoin de connaissances pr\u00e9alables et peut suivre son processus de construction directement devant lui. Par le biais d'un menu, il s\u00e9lectionne diff\u00e9rents composants \u00e0 l'aide d'un contr\u00f4leur et les ajoute \u00e0 la construction. Il peut arranger, s\u00e9parer ou supprimer les pi\u00e8ces \u00e0 sa guise.<\/p>\n<p>Le d\u00e9roulement de la construction est calcul\u00e9 en permanence. Comme l'application d\u00e9tecte les erreurs de chevauchement, l'utilisateur peut se concentrer sur la conception. L'utilisateur peut exporter le d\u00e9veloppement directement depuis l'environnement virtuel et l'envoyer \u00e0 un d\u00e9coupeur laser ou \u00e0 une entreprise locale de d\u00e9coupe laser.
