Sur la CES 2019<\/a> \u00e0 Las Vegas, le nouveau casque VR HTC Vive Cosmos a \u00e9t\u00e9 annonc\u00e9. Celui-ci peut \u00eatre utilis\u00e9 avec un PC et apparemment aussi avec des smartphones. Il ne s'agit donc pas d'un appareil autonome comme le Vive Focus ou l'Oculus Quest par exemple.<\/p>\n

Pour simplifier l'utilisation et la portabilit\u00e9, le syst\u00e8me de tracking Lighthouse, connu du HTC Vive, a \u00e9t\u00e9 abandonn\u00e9. \u00c0 la place, on mise sur des cam\u00e9ras de tracking int\u00e9gr\u00e9es \u00e0 l'avant des lunettes VR. Celles-ci d\u00e9tectent les nouveaux contr\u00f4leurs de mouvement et les mouvements dans l'espace. Les contr\u00f4leurs disposent chacun d'un stick analogique, de deux boutons de tir, d'un bouton d'accueil et de deux g\u00e2chettes. La face avant des lunettes VR peut \u00eatre relev\u00e9e, ce qui \u00e9vite d'avoir \u00e0 retirer l'ensemble du casque pour voir quelque chose.<\/p>\n

Insgesamt wird eine einfachere Handhabung angepeilt, die den VR-Einstieg erleichtern soll. Auf der CES 2019 wurde eine Entwicklerversion vorgestellt, die im Fr\u00fchjahr 2019 an die Studios ausgeliefert wird. Das finale Produkt soll irgendwann im Jahr 2019 erscheinen. Preis und Termin wurden nicht genannt, was ebenfalls f\u00fcr technische Details gilt, aber es ist vom „bisher sch\u00e4rfsten Bildschirm“ in einem HTC-VR-Headset die Rede.
