Under the title: Heimat. A Borderline Experience, the Museum Stapferhaus in Lenzburg is showing a permanent exhibition, which is open until the end of March 2018. Part of this exhibition is a virtual reality space journey.<\/h3>\n

The Stapferhaus in Lenzburg<\/a> is known for its interactive exhibitions. At the moment, the innovative museum is inviting visitors to explore their feelings of home on an interactive experience trail.<\/p>\n

In addition to the tour of the museum (in three languages: German, French and English), visitors are invited to take a ride on the 32-metre-high Ferris wheel. But beware: there are many prejudices lurking on the ride that you have to deal with. In the Mirror Garden, there are fewer prejudices, but suddenly a lot of \"I's\", all of whom seem to be in search of home. And once you have finally found your roots on earth, you can relax on a virtual reality space journey and leave home far behind.<\/p>\n

Flight into space<\/h3>\n

Visitors to the exhibition enter the replica of a rocket and start the experience in a white, round room. As soon as they put on the VR goggles, they find themselves on board a spaceship.<\/p>\n

After the rocket launch, a drone video is shown in which the Stapferhaus Museum and the town of Lenzburg disappear further and further into the distance. This is followed by a flight through the clouds and the departure from the Earth's atmosphere, until visitors can see our home planet floating as a blue dot in space, surrounded by the Milky Way and millions of stars, among the planets of our solar system.<\/p>\n
