The online bank Swissquote in Western Switzerland is the first European financial institution to launch a virtual reality application for trading. The app has been available to iPhone users in the app store since yesterday, and the version for Android smartphones will follow later.<\/p>\n<p>The test of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.finews.ch\/news\/banken\/26094-swissquote-virtual-reality-paolo-buzzi-apple-watch\">Finews <\/a>describes how the whole thing works. With a 360\u00b0 perspective, you can see the stock market and currency prices as well as other information in real time. If you look up, you can see a starry sky. A little romance can't hurt the financial sector.<\/p>\n<p>The VR glasses can also be used for trading. The control works via a short glance.  When the user looks at the desired share, a window appears in which he can buy or sell the share. Using the so-called fast-trade technology, trades can be executed more quickly than before, writes <a href=\"http:\/\/www.inside-it.ch\/articles\/46525\">Inside-IT<\/a>. Since certain criteria - such as the standard 5,000 franc investment amount - are preconfigured, once a security has been selected, all one has to do is click on \"buy\" with the eyes and confirm. Finews criticises this: if you want to trade a different amount, you have to log into Swissquote's e-banking and adjust the contract size. This will then also apply to future trades.<\/p>\n<p>Also the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.blick.ch\/news\/wirtschaft\/blick-testet-vr-app-von-swissquote-hat-die-trader-zukunft-drei-dimensionen-id6156953.html\">View <\/a>has tested the app and says that it is a nice toy, but nothing more. Transactions take too long, although the process has been simplified.
