Januar 2017 findet bei We Are Cinema im Club Icon (im Restaurant TAOs), Augustinerhof, 8001 Z\u00fcrich eine Premiere statt. Das preisgekr\u00f6nte Virtual Reality Projekt &#8222;Notes on Blindness&#8220; entf\u00fchrt die Zuschauer mit einer st\u00fcndlichen Vorstellung ab 18.00 Uhr \u00a0in die Welt hinter dem Licht.<\/p>\n<p>For 45 minutes you can immerse yourself in the unknown, beautiful, terrifying, emotional, strange acoustic world of John Hull, who went blind in 1983. The story is based on the diary with original tape recordings of the theology professor and writer, who documented the increasing loss of sight and the associated blindness for better processing.<\/p>\n<p>Sentences like: \"For me, it is most beautiful when it rains, because then I \"see\" everything. On the other hand, it's terrible when it's snowing - because then everything is dull and you can't guess where which objects are.\", are fascinating and suggest how blind people perceive our world.<\/p>\n<p>Notes on Blindness consists of a documentary film and a virtual reality film. During the screening, the audience must become active themselves, because Notes on Blindness is an interactive virtual reality project. And it is already certain that the project will activate reflection and discussion.
