With her trip to Marrakech, a fairytale city in Morocco, the Swiss blogger and columnist Coffee Friday<\/a> a long dream. So that those of us at home can also immerse ourselves in this fascinating world, she has created immersiveweb.ch<\/a> a virtual reality tour that takes us with her to all the extraordinary places on her journey.<\/p>\n[\/g1_lead]\n

In their Travelogue <\/a>the Zurich native not only talks about the overwhelming beauty of this exotic city, but also about the differences between traditional and modern parts, the entertainment value of negotiating prices at the markets and relaxing moments of peace and quiet. To be right in the middle of it all instead of just being there, all you need to do is click on a station in her travelogue, and suddenly we find ourselves in the exact location just described. Music and background noise emphasise the atmosphere and invite you to daydream. Places that are so convincing entice you to travel there yourself. Virtual reality offers an impressive preview of what awaits tourists. It is therefore understandable that many companies in the Travel industry<\/a> sit on it. Listening to the sounds and amidst the exotic scenery, there are also some beautiful things hidden away. A chequered scarf catches our eye, and if we look at the icon underneath for a while, a product description pops up. We won't be flying to Marrakech any time soon, but we do have the opportunity to bring a piece of it home with us.<\/p>\n
