The aim is to raise money for the renovation of the museum building.<\/h3>\n<p><span id=\"page145R_mcid8\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">The <a href=\"http:\/\/kunstmuseumbern-infinite.ch\">Art Museum<\/a> On 23 May 2023, Berne presented a Swiss<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">The Kunstmuseum Bern INFINITE is opening its doors to the public.<\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">virtual space and launches a unique fundraising project. IN<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">FINITE puts digital artworks up for sale, with the proceeds going to the<\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">New building project \"Future Museum of Art Bern\" to be co-financed<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">is intended. INFINITE is also part of the future Kunstmuseum Bern,<\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">that offers new art experiences, encounters and mediation at the Hod<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">lerstrasse and in virtual space. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h3 id=\"hommage-an-johannes-itten\"><span id=\"page145R_mcid8\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Homage to Johannes Itten<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span id=\"page145R_mcid8\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">First created<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">the US artist Sasha Stiles pays homage to Johannes Itten.<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page145R_mcid15\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\"> His work<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Horizontal-vertical<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">(1915) has the US<\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">artist and poet Sasha Stiles transferred to the digital world and presented as a<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">12-part generative poem with the title<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">AN EYE, AFTER JOHANNES ITTEN<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">implemented. The work of Johannes Itten is described as an algorithmic<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">The colour and code are displayed in the same way.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"page145R_mcid12\" class=\"markedContent\"><\/span><span id=\"page145R_mcid12\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">\"The painting by Johannes Itten, constructed from abstract beams<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">was particularly suitable for appropriation by Sasha Stiles,<\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">as it follows a seemingly logical compositional rule, which in algo<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">rithms were translatable.
