Switzerland is a digital stronghold until 23 October. As part of the Swiss Digital Days<\/a> numerous events will be organised on topics such as cybersecurity, VR and AR as well as fake news - each week in a different region. The next stop will be the Digital Days organised by Digitalswitzerland in the greater Zurich area.<\/h3>\n

The centrepiece of the Swiss Digital Days are the so-called \"bubbles\". These inflatable visitor centres, which are set up at a new location almost every day, serve as a venue for events - but also as an information point to find out where something exciting can be experienced.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday, 20 September, the bubbles will be set up on the Rathausbr\u00fccke in Zurich. On this day, various digital topics will be illustrated there from 11 am to 6 pm. For example, the city of Zurich will be demonstrating how the city's air quality is monitored using sensors with a live experiment on particulate matter pollution. Computer animations can also be used to take a look at how the city of Zurich has changed over the centuries.<\/p>\n

HoloPlanning - digitally planning the city of the future with augmented reality<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

The city of Zurich is growing and developing. The city is also using HoloPlanning to plan the future of Zurich: Planned projects are visualised with augmented reality. Visitors can put on augmented reality glasses themselves at the information stand, see selected projects from Zurich-Affoltern and experience the Urban planning of the future<\/a> experience.<\/p>\n

Safe Truck VR<\/h3>\n

The city of Zurich also offers the opportunity to Safe Truck<\/a> a change of perspective. Visitors can use virtual reality glasses to experience how dangerous the blind spot of a lorry is. They can sit behind the virtual wheel of a lorry. An impressive virtual experience that gives drivers, pedestrians and cyclists a change of perspective and sensitises them to the challenges of urban traffic.<\/p>\n
