We marvelled at the 360\u00b0 Matterhorn experience.<\/span><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<div class=\"caption-and-content-layout__content-container\">\n<div class=\"inline-content-panel-layout\">\n<div class=\"inline-content-panel-layout__content\">\n<div class=\"inline-content\">\n<div class=\"inline-content__item inline-content__item--paragraph inline-content__item--composable-text inline-content__item--composable-text-end\">\n<div>\n<div>Under the title Red Bull Edge, the Red Bull Media Center in the Museum of Transport in Lucerne is currently offering a wide variety of experiences. So far very big in the media - we have also reported on the highlight <a href=\"https:\/\/vr-room.ch\/en\/2021\/06\/25\/red-bull-the-edge-virtuell-das-matterhorn-besteigen\/\">reports<\/a> - the new VR Experience came out, of course, where you can climb the Matterhorn on a climbing wall.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"inline-paragraph\">For all those who don't like climbing or can't book a slot, there is a wonderful way to still experience the experience more or less up close: In the<span class=\"inline-paragraph__text\"> of the 360\u00b0 VR documentary \"Matterhorn VR - The Summit\" by Jonathan Griffith, visitors can also climb the summit together with Red Bull athlete J\u00e9r\u00e9mie Heitz and mountain guide Sam Anthamatten. This 360\u00b0 realistic adventure makes the seemingly unreachable mountain accessible to all.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h3 id=\"der-test\">The test<\/h3>\n<div>After we had already queued up for the Mount Everest 360\u00b0 experience, I noticed that there were also two free seats on the opposite side. We asked what was going on with them. The host led us over and said that it was simply the Matterhorn. We decided to go despite the stop, also because we had just admired the Matterhorn in real life and wondered whether it was possible to go up there.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>I have already enjoyed a few 360\u00b0 experiences. D<span class=\"inline-paragraph__text\">as \"Matterhorn VR - The Summit\" <\/span>I found it to be one of the best. The thrilling ascent and the exclusive panoramic view from the hut were simply unique. I also loved the starry night and the dreamlike sunrise. I have to admit that I almost felt a little queasy when I looked down from the summit ridge. I could truly immerse myself in the world of mountaineering with this 360\u00b0 experience.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>By the way, the Museum of Transport offers other great VR experiences.
