A live concert or show would be long overdue. After all, there are a few \"consolations\" in VR, as we have already seen. reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n

If you still want something cool for the eyes and ears, you might find it here: Three impressive performances by the Ukrainian dance troupe have recently been available on Magenta VR. Light Balance<\/a> to see. Light Balance were founded in Ukraine in 2012. They enrich dance choreographies with clever LED technology on clothes and masks. Against a black background, it looks as if LED outlines are dancing.<\/p>\n

Fascinating LED dance show<\/span><\/h3>\n

In addition to the actual dance choreography, the Ukrainians invented an elaborate light show for this LED technology that is coordinated with the choreography. As a group, the dancers simultaneously function as a screen that transports the light show. Whole body parts suddenly appear or disappear in the deep black of the background and heads, hands, hats, masks and all kinds of other objects and shapes dance in coordination to the beat of the music.<\/p>\n

This innovative combination of dance and technology has wowed many people, including the audience of Britain's Got Talent (2014) and America's Got Talent in 2017. Light Balance made it to the finals. See for yourself:<\/p>\n

Light Balance rocks the VR dance floor<\/h3>\n

Three of the dance group's choreographies are now also available in VR on the interactive, free VR platform Magenta VR. They are called: Monster Mash, Beat City and Colors. The app is available for iOS<\/a>, Android<\/a>, VR devices with Google Daydream and Samsung Gear VR<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The music clips, filmed in stereoscopic 3D, raise the stage presentation to a new level of quality: not only is the audience very close - barely two arm's lengths away, the dance professionals show what they can do. In addition, a 3D stage set and sparingly used 3D effects round off the performance.<\/p>\n

As long as Covid measures are still raging, it's a good alternative to at least rock out a bit at home. For the time being, the whole tour is cancelled.<\/p>\n
