IO Interactive has announced that \"Hitman 3\" will be playable entirely with PlayStation VR, from a first-person perspective, which is a first for the series. Agent 47 normally operates from the third-person view.<\/p>\n

And it doesn't stop there, as it has also been confirmed that the locations from the two predecessors will also be available to experience in VR. \"We are proud to announce that VR support will be available for every location from all three parts. You heard that right! Every location in the world of the Hitman trilogy can be played in VR when you play them in Hitman 3. We're finalising the details of how PSVR owners will be able to enjoy Hitman in VR,\" said the Communications Manager Travis Barbour, with more information to be announced in the coming months.<\/span><\/p>\n

The first-person view is intended to provide significantly more immersion: \"You can stand face to face with your opponents and look them straight in the eye, dive into a busy crowd and perceive the boisterous chatter around you and simply interact with objects with your hands.\" For example, you can swing a frying pan to knock someone out.
