As part of its \"EA Play Live 2020\" event, Electronic Arts presented the first game scenes from \"Star Wars: Squadrons<\/a>\", which will be fully playable in virtual reality on both PC and PlayStation 4.<\/p>\n

Interestingly, \"Star Wars: Squadrons\" will only be playable from the cockpit perspective, which is best suited to VR. The five-minute video not only shows gameplay, but also takes a closer look at the various features and modes of \"Star Wars: Squadrons\". The space shooter will be released on 2 October 2020 for PC (Origin, Steam, Epic Games Store), Xbox One and PlayStation 4.<\/p>\n

According to EA, \"Star Wars: Squadrons\" includes exciting 5v5 multiplayer flight battles, massive fleet battles and a completely new story that deals with the last days of the Galactic Empire and the rise of the New Republic after the events of \"Star Wars: Return of the Jedi\". So the second Death Star was already destroyed, but the Empire was not immediately defeated.<\/p>\n
