Among them were some that work with VR and AR.<\/h3>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>With around 200,000 visitors, CES is the largest technology trade fair in the world. Every year, the latest technologies and next-generation innovations are presented. Amidst the numerous international exhibitors, the Swiss pavilion once again made a strong impression under the \"SwissTech\" label.<\/p>\n<p>After a successful baptism of fire and a successful first edition last year, Switzerland was represented at the world's largest tech trade fair from 7 to 10 January 2020. Together with its partners, digitalswitzerland is pursuing the mission of promoting Switzerland's innovative strength and establishing the country as a leading international technology hotspot.<\/p>\n<p>Nicolas B\u00fcrer, Managing Director of digitalswitzerland: \"With the cooperation between digitalswitzerland, Presence Switzerland, Switzerland Global Enterprise, Innosuisse and swissnex, we are pooling our strengths effectively. Our participation in CES enables the best Swiss start-ups to have their forward-looking ideas validated by an international audience. Our participation brings us a considerable step closer to our goal of securing and expanding Switzerland's leading role as a nation of innovation. After last year's premiere, SwissTech's second participation at CES, which brings together international companies and innovative thinkers, was also a complete success.<\/p>\n<p>The spectrum of participating start-ups ranges from FoodTech, AgeTech and Artificial Intelligence to SportTech and, of course, VR and AR.
