VR is also used, for example, by MMA fighter Misha Cirkunov in preparation for his real MMA fights - and surprisingly not primarily for a harder punch; but for more self-confidence.<\/strong><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>MMA fighter Misha Cirkunov says he regularly enters the ring virtually. Not to spar with computer opponents and train hard punches. As usual, that works better in reality.<\/p>\n<p>Instead, Cirkunov tackles his stage anxiety in the VR boxing ring. \"In training you can beat anyone, but how to perform under all those lights and in front of all those people ... that's what I've been working on. I simulated it with a trick at home,\" Cirkunov says. That trick turns out to be VR goggles: \"I used virtual reality. I put on this helmet and then I got into a championship boxing ring and now none of this itches me. Before it was like this,\" says Cirkunov.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"virtual-reality-hat-eine-grosse-zukunft\">\"Virtual reality has a great future\"<\/h3>\n<p>According to Cirkunov, it is only a matter of time before VR establishes itself as a training tool in the MMA market. \"Virtual reality has a big future. There are so many crazy games.\"<\/p>\n<p>He himself was in the boxing simulation <a href=\"https:\/\/mixed.de\/oculus-rift-htc-vive-test-creed-rise-to-glory\/\">\"Creed: Rise to Glory (Test)<\/a> currently ranked first in the world for a punching exercise. After half an hour of VR boxing with wrist weights, he is \"completely drenched in sweat\" and can only continue thanks to air conditioning and a towel. \"There is a great future and opportunity in learning because everything can be in 3D. Even just seeing some techniques could be very interesting.\"<\/p>\n<p>Maybe our Swiss MMA fighters should drop by the Cybergym and <a href=\"https:\/\/vr-room.ch\/en\/?s=towermax\">Towermax Fitness<\/a> try it out to score more often.
