Influencers and brands can add an augmented reality feature called AR Beauty Try-On to the products they present. While the product is shown in the YouTube video, viewers can try it out virtually on themselves.<\/p>\n<p class=\"a-paragraph\" data-t-name=\"Paragraph\">This lends itself to the ubiquitous make-up tutorials on YouTube, for example, which can be displayed on a split screen. An influencer then shows a new lipstick, for example, and viewers can see directly how it would look on their own lips thanks to augmented reality.<\/p>\n<h4 id=\"kosmetikhersteller-sind-schon-dran\" class=\"content-title\">Cosmetics manufacturers are already on it<\/h4>\n<p class=\"a-paragraph\" data-t-name=\"Paragraph\">The feature will first be offered on YouTube's FameBit platform, which can be used by companies and influencers to organise advertising campaigns. The first company to use AR Beauty Try-On is the cosmetics manufacturer MAC.<\/p>\n<p class=\"a-paragraph\" data-t-name=\"Paragraph\">However, the AR concept is not entirely new. A number of cosmetics manufacturers, including Sephora and L'Or\u00e9al, already offer similar functionality in their apps.
