In the VR game Hotel R'n'R by Wolf & Wood, every hotel is a unique playground. Players take on the role of failed music stars and make a pact with the devil: in order to gain musical talent and become rich and famous, they can interact with all the furnishings and objects in the rooms and ultimately have to destroy them.<\/p>\n
However, an effective destruction tour must be well planned. Players are given enough preparation time before each new level to develop a proper plan. Because if you get caught by the hotel staff in charge, it's game over. Managers and cleaning staff are constantly patrolling the corridors and will become alert if there is too much noise. Players also have to take care of their virtual bodies, which are constantly being damaged by the brute force.<\/p>\n
The different rooms are completely different in design and offer plenty of new opportunities for interaction and destruction. A total of five different hotels are available.<\/p>\n
Successfully completing the game will earn you points on your evil account and new notes in your wallet. Players can exchange these for new obscure weapons - why not smash everything to bits with a fish, for example? - and wreak even more havoc. There are also mini-games in Purgatory and various customisation options for adapting your own character. Explorers will also get their money's worth, as there are numerous secrets and hidden content waiting for players to explore.<\/p>\n
