Together with Staay Interactive, the Jeff agency has created a virtual reality experience called \"Off to entertainment heaven\" for UPC. Visitors to the Zurich Film Festival go on an interactive journey in a flying TV chair.<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

This year, visitors to the Zurich Film Festival will have a special virtual reality experience: under the motto \"Off to entertainment heaven\", they will have the opportunity to experience UPC's new TV experience up close, as Jeff writes in a press release. As soon as visitors sit in the simulator chair, they are catapulted from the virtual living room into the sky.<\/p>\n

Once there, he takes control with the new UPC TV remote control and flies to huge, floating TV screens showing the latest films from UPC TV. When the test subject looks down, the bird's eye view of the city of Zurich is mesmerising.<\/p>\n

What is special is that the TV chair also \"plays along\". The movable armchair, specially produced for the experience, lifts up at the start so that the feet lose contact with the ground and the visitor is completely immersed in the virtual world.<\/p>\n

Competition as an additional measure<\/h3>\n

If the visitor wants to win a prize in addition to the flying experience, she must then match all the films on a tablet app to the correct film poster. Concentration is required as rushing jumbo jets or passing kites try to distract the visitor audiovisually. There are VR glasses to be won every day and the main prize is a year's free \"Happy Home\" with the new UPC TV.<\/p>\n

The concept, interactive storytelling and realisation were developed by Jeff and the game studio Staay <\/a>Interactive (Best of Swiss Apps 2017 winner in the Best Game and Best Campaign categories). Anyone interested can still experience entertainment heaven at the Zurich Film Festival until Sunday, 7 October.<\/p>\n
