The first day of VRDAYS already provided proof that virtual and augmented reality go far beyond gaming. If you don't want to believe it, tomorrow, on Sunday, you have another chance to immerse yourself in strange worlds and experience for yourself what VR and AR are used for.<\/h3>\n

<\/p>\n

Lots of impressions and lots of experiences - that was the first day of VRDAYS in Zurich and fortunately not the last. Anyone betting that only nerds and tech freaks would visit the first edition of this event was definitely wrong. Even before 10.00 a.m., curious visitors were ready to immerse themselves in the diverse virtual worlds and leave the real world behind. Over 400 visitors of all ages enjoyed themselves and gathered information right up to the last minute of the day.<\/p>\n

The atmosphere was open and peaceful. A few minutes of waiting time could not be avoided for particularly popular applications, such as the Fusion Arena. But the visitors waited patiently and used the time to chat animatedly about their experiences.<\/p>\n

The organisation team was particularly surprised by the great interest in the workshops. The \"basics workshops\" in particular were quickly sold out. During the day, many spontaneous participants also signed up, so that practically every workshop was completely full. The varied stage programme also continued to attract people.<\/p>\n
