Of course, various VR applications are also on the programme.\u00a0<!--more--><\/h3>\n<p>How is digitalisation changing our view of the world? How does it influence our everyday life? Here you can find all the activities of our 70 partner organisations, which will take place in twelve cities and show a variety of perspectives within and beyond the borders of digitalisation. Activities are planned in Zurich, Geneva, Lugano, Basel, Bern, Chur, Fribourg, Lausanne, Lucerne, Yverdon-les-Bains, Sion, St. Gallen and Vaduz.<\/p>\n<p>With critical discussions on the seven topics: Education, Health, Mobility, Lifestyle, Work 4.0, Media &amp; News, My Data, the day specifically promotes dialogue. Throughout the day, the partners will be available to answer questions.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"virtuelle-besucherfuehrung-durch-ein-paketzentrum\">Virtual visitor tour through a parcel centre<\/h3>\n<p>Swiss Post invites visitors to discover a parcel centre on a virtual tour. It shows how digital technology enables new services in logistics. You can experience first-hand how the highly complex computer-controlled high-tech conveyor system works, which not only allows parcels to be sorted in a timely, reliable and gentle manner, but also enables a variety of new services thanks to the digital technology used in the background.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"drohnenflug-in-virtual-reality\" class=\"headline\">Virtual reality drone flight<\/h3>\n<p>Swiss Post is also at the forefront of the development and use of drones in logistics. With the virtual reality simulator, visitors can experience an impressive flight with an autonomously flying drone over Lake Zurich. It is launching the world's first browser-based content management system for virtual reality. In a first step, this will be used for the visualisation of planned construction projects.<\/p>\n<\/header>\n<div class=\"subline margin-bottom-small\">&#8222;Wer einmal High End Virtual Reality\u00a0 mit HEGIAS erlebt hat, wird nie mehr ein Haus ohne vorherige virtuelle Begehung bauen. Wir wollen die vielen Schweizer Start-ups, die tagt\u00e4glich die Digitalisierung unseres Alltags weiterentwickeln, vertreten und dabei ein konkretes Produkt den Besuchern des Digitaltags erlebbar machen. Wir zeigen mit HEGIAS, dass Digitalisierung bzw. Interactive 3D graphics? With augmented reality (AR), printed newspapers merge with digital content. In technical jargon, this is called: Interactive Print.
