This week, a new trailer for the promising "Paper Beast" was shown at a Sony event ("State of Play"). "Paper Beast" will be released for PlayStation VR in the first quarter of 2020.
"Paper Beast" is produced by Eric Chahis new studio Pixel Reef. It is an exploration and adventure VR game that lets VR users explore a mysterious ecosystem in a lost digital world. The new gameplay trailer shows how to manipulate the terrain and paper creatures to solve puzzles and uncover the secrets behind the dream-like odyssey.
You are allowed to interact with every creature you encounter on your journey. Based on an extensive physics engine that calculates the creatures' movements in real time, they can, for example, be lifted to protect them from predators or other dangers. The animals adapt their behaviour accordingly. You will also be able to manipulate the terrain to clear obstacles out of the way and solve environmental puzzles.
