In the film you see that it sounds easier than it is. As Mario, you still have to have some kick in your legs to be able to jump high enough. That's why the player is quite audibly out of breath in the video. But he still seems to be having a lot of fun.

Pure nostalgia

Finally, the mystery of what happens when Mario goes down the tube is solved. He finds himself in a tunnel with lots of coins. With the faithful Super Mario Bros sound, we can finally empathise with the character that most of us probably spent hours with as a child.

According to the tester, the VR game is designed for Oculus, but he has also made it work with Vive. And according to the developer, the whole thing is still in the test phase - but for that it is already very successful.
